Cadherin-ksp/CDH16 [CDH16/1071]
Description Kidney specific. Cadherins are calcium dependent cell adhesion proteins. They preferentially interact with themselves in a homophilic manner in connecting cells; cadherins may thus contribute to the sorting of heterogeneous cell types. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Reactivity Human -

Calcitonin Gene Related Peptide/CGRP [4901]
Description Calcitonin Gene Related Peptide or CGRP is a 37 amino acid peptide and is the most potent endogenous vasodilator currently known. It is primarily produced in nervous tissue and its receptors are expressed throughout the body. CGRP is strongly implicated in the vasodilatory effect of endogenous cannabinoid anandamide in the brain. This effect was found to be antagonized by capsazepine. CGRP is also currently a major target of research in regards to factors effecting the onset of migraine headaches. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application ELISA, Flow cytometry (FC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed), Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections (IHC-Fs), Immunoprecipitation (IP) Reactivity Human, Mouse, Rat, Dog Guinea Pig -
Caldesmon [EP19]
Description Caldesmon is a smooth muscle regulatory protein that interacts with actin, myosin, tropomyosin, and calmodulin. It is more specific to smooth muscle differentiation than desmin and muscle specific actin. Also, it is useful in differentiation of smooth muscle from myofibroblast tumors, uterus leiomyoma from endometrial stroma tumor. Caldesmon is a marker for identification of epitheloid mesothelioma. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Rabbit Application Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Reactivity Human -

Caldesmon, HMW (h-Caldesmon) [h-CALD]
Description Recognizes a protein of 150kDa, which is identified as the high molecular weight variant of Caldesmon. This MAb recognizes only the 150kDa variant (h-Caldesmon) in Western blots of human aortic media extracts and is unreactive with fibroblast extracts from cultivated human foreskin. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Flow cytometry (FC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC),Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Reactivity Human -

Calgranulin B/MRP-8/-14/MAC387/S100A8/A9/Macrophage Ag [MAC387]
Description Expressed by macrophages in acutely inflammed tissues and in chronic inflammation. Detected in peripheral blood leukocytes, in neutrophils and granulocytes. Detected at sites of vascular inflammation (at protein level). Also expressed in epithelial cells constitutively or induced during dermatoses.Calcium-binding protein. Has antimicrobial activity towards bacteria and fungi. Important for resistance to invasion by pathogenic bacteria. Up-regulates transcription of genes that are under the control of NF-kappa-B. Plays a role in the development of endotoxic shock in response to bacterial lipopolysaccharide (LPS) (By similarity). Promotes tubulin polymerization when unphosphorylated. Promotes phagocyte migration and infiltration of granulocytes at sites of wounding. Plays a role as a pro-inflammatory mediator in acute and chronic inflammation and up-regulates the release of IL8 and cell-surface expression of ICAM1. Extracellular calprotectin binds to target cells and promotes apoptosis. Host Mouse Application Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Reactivity Human -

Calponin [CALP]
Description Calponin is a smooth muscle specific, actin-, tropomyosin- and calmodulin-binding protein thought to be involved in regulation of actomyosin as well as the regulation or modulation of contraction. It is expressed on smooth muscle cells and myoepithelial cells. Calponin has been used to identify invasion of breast lesion. Additionally, Calponin is expressed on malignant fibrous histiocytoma of bone and adenoid cystic carcinoma of salivary gland. The consistently positive staining pattern in adenoid cystic carcinomas may be useful in discriminating histologically similar but consistently negative polymorphous low-grade adenocarcinomas (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Flow cytometry (FC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC),Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Reactivity Human, Rat
