Actin alpha Sarcomeric [5C5]
Description Actin is a cytoskeletal protein that regulates cell motility, secretion, phagocytosis and cytokinesis. The NH2-terminal of actin may function as antigen. This terminal may also modulate actin interactions and may associate with proteins such as myosin. This antibody is specific for α-skeletal and α-cardiac muscle actins as characterized by ELISA, immunoblot and immunohistochemistry. The antibody shows wide species cross reactivity with tissue from human, sheep, bovine, rabbit, guinea pig, rat, frog, snake, and carp. However, it does not react with smooth muscle tissue. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Immunocytochemistry (ICC),Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB) Reactivity Human, Sheep, Bovine, Rabbit, Guinea Pig, Rat, Frog, Snake, Carp -
Actin Muscle Specific [MSA/953]
Description This antibody recognizes all muscular actin isotypes. It labels myoepithelial, smooth muscle, skeletal, cardiac muscle cells and leiomyomas. It has been reported to react with pericytes and reactive myofibroblasts. Positive staining cells have been reported in some sarcomas, representing either myofibroblasts or pericytes components. Using this antibody with other myogenic markers such as smooth muscle a ctin, desmin and vimentin will be very helpful for differentiation of tumor from muscle origin. Clone HHF35 has been demonstrated to be reliable marker for soft tissue tumors with muscle differentiation, i.e. leiomyomas, leiomyosarcomas, and rhabdomyosarcomas. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Flow cytometry (FC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Western Blot (WB) Reactivity Human, Rabbit, Rat -

Caveolin 1 (CAV1) [6C2B2]
Description Identified as a tyrosine phosphorylated protein in Rous sarcoma virus-transformed chick embryo fibroblasts (CEF), caveolin is now known to be ubiquitously expressed. Caveolin (also known as VIP21) localizes to non-clathrin membrane invaginations (caveolae) on the inner surface of the plasma membrane. This transmembrane protein plays a structural role in these specializations. Caveolin is also present at the trans-Golgi network (TGN) and similar quantities are found in apically and basolaterally destined transport vesicles. Caveolin is part of a complex containing glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-linked molecules and cytoplasmic signaling proteins. Caveolin is a transmembrane adaptor molecule that can simultaneously recognize GPI-linked proteins and interact with downstream cytoplasmic signaling molecules, such as c-yes, Annexin II, and hetero-trimeric G proteins. Caveolin-1 can generate two forms, α and ß, due to alternate splicing of the mRNA. Caveolin-1 forms large lipid-binding ho Host Mouse Application Bioimg , Immunohistochemistry (IHC) , Immunoprecipitation (IP) , Western Blot (WB) Reactivity Human, Mouse, Rat, Dog (Canine), Rabbit -

CD171/NCAM-L1 [C2]
Description Cell adhesion molecules are a family of closely related cell surface glycoproteins involved in cell-cell interactions during growth and are thought to play an important role in embryogenesis and development. Neuronal cell adhesion molecule (NCAM) expression is observed in a variety of human tumors, including neuroblastomas, rhabdomyosarcomas, Wilm's tumors, Ewing's sarcomas and some primitive myeloid malignancies. The NCAM-L1 adhesion molecule (CD171) plays an important role in axon guidance and cell migration in the nervous system. The presence of NCAM-L1 might contribute to tumor progression by promoting cell adhesion and migration and is known to be expressed by neurons, neuroblastomas and other malignant tumors. CD5 [C5/473&CD5/54/F6]
Description CD5 (Lymphocyte antigen T1/Leu-1) is a transmembrane glycoprotein which has been implicated as a receptor in the regulation of T-cell proliferation. CD5 antibody labels a variety of T lymphocytes, mantle zone lymphocytes and a small subset of B lymphocytes. In tumors, CD5 is expressed on T-cell malignancies, Bcell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)/small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), and mantle-cell lymphoma. It is a useful diagnostic tool for these tumors. In addition, anti-CD5 is helpful in diagnosis of thymic carcinoma (CD5 positive). (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Flow cytometry (FC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC),Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Reactivity Human, Rabbit, Rat, Bovine -

CD68 [KP1]
Description CD68 is expressed on macrophages and monocytes. KP -1 is important for identifying macrophages in tissue sections. It stains macrophages in a wide variety of human tissues, including Kupffer cells and macrophages in the red pulp of the spleen, in lamina propria of the gut, in lung alveoli, and in bone marrow. KP-1 reacts with myeloid precursors and peripheral blood granulocytes. It also reacts with plasmacytoid T cells which are supposed to be of monocyte/macrophage origin. It shows strong granular cytoplasmic staining of chronic and acute myeloid leukemia and also reacts with rare cases of true histiocytic neoplasia. Tumors of lymphoid origin are usually not stained. (Shipping Cost: €200.00) Host Mouse Application Flow cytometry (FC), Immunocytochemistry (ICC),Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Reactivity Human, Rabbit, Monkey, Cat -
