CD48 [MD134]
Description CD48 (BLAST1) is an activation-associated, glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored cell surface glycoprotein expressed primarily in mitogen-stimulated human lymphocytes. CD48 is expressed on T cells, B cells, thymocytes and splenocytes. Both normal and malignant white blood cells express CD48 on their membrane surface, but greater than 95% of CD34+ hematopoietic stem cells do not express CD48. CD48 is expressed at higher levels on human Burkitt's lymphoma cell lines, Raji and most acute myeloid leukemia cells with phenotype CD34-/CD13+/CD33+. Although much remains to be elucidated, CD48 is a critical marker for human immunity, and will most likely be of use in the treatment of many diseases like hematopoietic tumors, autoimmunity, allergy and chronic inflammatory diseases. CD50 (ICAM-3) [186-2G9]
Description CD50 (ICAM-3) is a leukocyte-specific surface receptor involved in primary immune responses. It belongs to the immunoglobulin gene superfamily (Igsf). CD50 is constitutively expressed on human leukocytes, such as T and B lymphocytes, monocytes and neutrophils, and localizes to the rear of polarized leukocytes and clusters with the ezrin-radixin-moesin (ERM) proteins moesin and ezrin. These ERM proteins link CD50 to the actin cytoskeleton. It recognizes the Beta 2-integrin leukocyte function associated molecule-1 (LFA-1) as a receptor, moreover it also functions as a ligand for LFA-1, Mac-1 (CD11b/CD8), adb2 integrins, and the Dendritic Cell-Specific ICAM-3-Grabbing Non Integrin (DC-SIGN) C-type lectin. CD50 mediates a plethora of immunologically relevant homotypic and heterotypic intercellular interactions, such as leukocyte recruitment during migration, removal of apoptotic cells and lymphocyte interactions with antigen-presenting cells. Importantly, CD50 is involved in the interactio Host Mouse Application Flow cytometry (FC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Reactivity Human -

CD6 [3F7B5]
Description CD6 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein that contains a 24-amino acid signal sequence, three extracellular scavenger receptor cysteine-rich (SRCR) domains, a membrane-spanning domain and a 44-amino acid cytoplasmic domain. The CD6 glycoprotein is tyrosine phosphorylated during TCR-mediated T cell activation. CD6 shows significant homology to CD5. CD61/Integrin Beta 3 [Y2/51]
Description CD61 (GPIIIa) or human integrin beta chain beta 3 protein (ITGB3), is a glycoprotein found on megakaryocytes, platelets and their precursors. CD61 antigen plays a role in platelet aggregation and also as a receptor for fibrinogen, fibronectin, von Willebrand factor and vitronectrin. Integrins are integral cell-surface proteins composed of an alpha chain and a beta chain. A given chain may combine with multiple partners resulting in different integrins. Integrin beta 3 is found along with the alpha IIb chain in platelets. Integrins are known to participate in cell adhesion as well as cell-surface mediated signaling. The integrin beta 3 chain of the vitronectin receptor and GPIIb/IIIa complex is a 90-110 kDa glycoprotein polypeptide which is expressed on platelets, megakaryocytes, macrophages, osteoclasts, and synovial lining cells. Integrin alpha-IIb/beta-3 recognizes the sequence H-H-L-G-G-G-A-K-Q-A-G-D-V in fibrinogen gamma chain. Following activation, integrin alpha-IIb/beta-3 brings Host Mouse Application Flow cytometry (FC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Reactivity Human
