TACC3 (Transforming acidic coiled-coil-containing protein 3), also known as ERIC1, belongs to the TACC family. TACC family members TACC1, TACC2, and TACC3 map very closely to the corresponding FGFR1, FGFR2, FGFR3 genes on chromosomes 8, 10, and 4. Subsequently, since they are phylogenetically related, it is proposed that TACC and FGFR have similar roles in cell growth and differentiation. TACC3 plays a critical role in microtubule nucleation at the centrosome. It is involved in the regulation of microtubule nucleation at the centrosome and functions in the stabilization of the γ-tubulin ring complex assembly. It plays an essential role in spindle assembly and centrosome integrity during mitosis as well as for cellular survival. It may act as a potential therapeutic target in cancer cells. TACC3 is aberrantly expressed in a variety of human cancers. It acts as a driver of tumorigenesis as well as an inducer of oncogenic EMT. (Shipping Cost: €200.00)

Collagen I/COL1A1 [3G3]

The extensive family of COL gene products (collagens) is composed of several chain types, including fibril-forming interstitial collagens (types I, II, III and V) and basement membrane collagens (type IV), each type containing multiple isoforms. Collagens are fibrous, extracellular matrix proteins with high tensile strength and are the major components of connective tissue, such as tendons and cartilage. All collagens contain a triple helix domain and frequently show lateral self-association in order to form complex connective tissues. Several collagens also play a role in cell adhesion, important for maintaining normal tissue architecture and function. This clone reacts collagen I.
