HLA-DRB1 belongs to the HLA class II beta chain paralogs. Known as MHC class II antigen DRB1*15. The class II molecule is a heterodimer consisting of an alpha (DRA) and a beta chain (DRB), both anchored in the membrane. It plays a central role in the immune system by presenting peptides derived from extracellular proteins. HLA-DRB1 is expressed mainly on antigen-presenting cells, such as B lymphocytes, monocytes and dendritic cells but can also be detected on activated T lymphocytes and activated granulocytes. In abnormal tissues, it has been found in different types of acute lymphoblastic leukaemias and acute myeloid leukaemias. Additionally, HLADR was also found in some nonhemato, including carcinomas of the colon and breast. (Shipping Cost: €200.00)
